Conflicting Information.
Last week I received my issue of Volkswagen Driver Magazine, and it has an advertisement/ article for the GX3. The piece on the GX3 states the vehicle will come with a 1.6-liter engine as opposed to the 1.4 that I (as well as everyone else) reported earlier. I far as I'm concerned the bigger the engine the better. I want to see sub 5.0 0-60mph times from this thing.

I would not like to see a bigger engine, at least not as an only option. If the MPG drops, that will take away from the cars appeal to half of the audience. Besides, true performance gurus can add HP whereas those of us who want a unique and efficient vehicle will be out of luck.
I'd actually like to see a diesel in the thing. If for no other reason than "huh?" value.
I would be very happy to see the 1.9 L TDI in it. That would probably return performance numbers equal to or better than the 1.4L gas, and the mileage would be on the order of 60 MPG. Then they could offer a bigger gas option for those who want bragging rights.
